Former Candleblogger and Vermont ex pat Spine is in BTV this week.  His 20th high school reunion is this weekend and we’ve already run into a few faces we’ve not seen in many years.  It’s both awkward and awesome to see these folks, many of whom engendered very strong feelings in me back in the day — both positive and negative.  It’s all so long ago, but high school was kind of an intense time for me and this weekend, while not technically my reunion (mine was last year — I didn’t go), will likely prove to be a little intense.

Also, it turns out that Spine is a Guitar Hero natural.  The fifth song he did on Guitar Hero III was Metallica’s One on medium level.  That’s the hardest song on medium, and he beat it.  Fifth song ever on GH.  He’s already beating songs on hard and it’s only his second day playing the game.  The guy’s a ringer.
