On Demand, baby

Sometime next week several of my short films will be available for free on-demand to all Burlington Telecom cable subscribers.  How is this possible?  Recently VCAM has been providing BT with on-demand versions of several locally-produced films and TV shows.  We’ve taken on the task of doing the transcoding of the video and organizing the meta-data.  It’s a new process and we’re still working out the kinks but BT subscribers can already watch Eva Sollberger’s Stuck in Vermont, press conferences by Bernie Sanders and several other PEG access bits of programming on their BT-enabled TVs.  This is in a beta phase and if you’re a BT subscriber and like seeing original Vermont programming on-demand, call them up and let them know.

I’ll post here again when my films are officially up and available.

  1. V. cool. If I had TV I’d totally watch.

I live in Winooski and am not, unfortunately, eligible for your socialist television.

And it makes me bitter sometimes.
