One of the things that Steve and I talk about on our weekly radio show is how the presidential race isn’t so much a race between Sentator Obama and Senator McCain, but rather it’s a race between Obama and not-Obama. McCain’s entire strategy appears to be about telling us that Obama would be bad for America and not telling us anything about the specific ways that John McCain would be a better choice. But don’t take my word for it. Let’s let the two campaign websites do all the talking.
Using Wordle — a clever little web app that takes all of the text on a given website and creates a text cloud where words that are used more frequently appear bigger — The Boston Globe was able to draw some startling comparisons about the two campaigns’ relative messages.

It seems to me that after 8 years of Bush the single most important issue is whether we can trust our next president. One candidate is clearly more dishonest than the other.
