[Welcome Crooks and Liars visitors!  Please don't spill Mountain Dew on the sofa and help yourself to the Cheetos.]

UPDATE: There is now also a Facebook group and a Hardcore Nerdity group devoted to the Pro-Obama Dungeons & Dragons Crowd.

UPDATE #2: I’ve created a Flickr set with all of the related art that has been proffered to me so far. Feel free to keep making images!

It’s official.  Thanks to some initiative-taking readers (or perhaps someone totally unrelated to this blog… I’m still not sure), the “Pro-Obama Dungeons and Dragons Crowd” group has been created at MyBarackObama.com.  Go there now and join.  While you’re at it, give the big O some money.  We even have not one, but two completely awesome logos, made by McE and Beth, respectively… w00t!

Great logos!! Any thought of turning them into a T-shirt, say CafePress or something? I’m sure they’d sell.

You all better watch out – John McCain now has no choice but to unleash his new special interest group, the “McCAIN LAWNCHAIR GARDEN HOSE BRIGADE”. They have their own anthem too, [to the tune "Hurt"]:

    I hurt myself today
    just getting out of bed
    I focus on the yard
    the weeds begun to spread
The kids have now come back
    they needle me all day
I shout at them to leave
Then I remember what to say:

    What have you become,
    my sweetest yard?
    All these rotten kids
just make my life so hard
    I will give to them
    Not one inch of dirt
    I will hose them down
    I will make them HURT.

I have a used original series of D&D manuals and I think the original owner name scratched out looks to be “Mikey Goldfarb.”

    I love the D20 logo. A lot.

The 13 on the D20 is wrong. It is a mirror image or the one is upside down. The placement of the 12 nad 14 do not match the other numbers, the numbers aligning with an edge of a facet on the die.

    The other logo is great.

I’ve never played D & D, but I think it’s bizarre that someone would generalize about an entire group of people whose only apparent similarity is their interest in a certain pastime. Then again, it seems that quite a lot of McCain supporters are pretty openly jingoistic. You know, thinking that being a Mexican, or Muslim, or gay, etc., is a bad thing.

So now, I think it’s great that all you D & D enthusiasts, who I’m sure have many different viewpoints are uniting in support for Obama.

    Best wishes!

(And D&D Numbers Guy: You have an awesome attention to detail!)

  13. Here’s my contribution. Can’t sell it because it usees Obama’s trademarked O, but you can download it and make a CafePress and/or Zazzle shirt out of it.
