It’s official. Since 2004 Candleblog has been the online journal of Vermont filmmaker, Bill Simmon. Bill and his wife, Emily, use Candleblog as a repository of pop culture ephemera, amusing anecdotes, occasional deep thoughts and anything else they think is web-worthy.
Bill will be presenting a brief talk on the importance of community media at the 2010 SXSW Interactive conference in Austin, Texas. The presentation is called Hyperlocal Focus: Growing a Vibrant Community Media Ecosystem.
Candleblog has received the Seven Days "Daysie" Award for Best Vermont Blog (non-political) in 2005, 2007 and 2008.

You all better watch out – John McCain now has no choice but to unleash his new special interest group, the “McCAIN LAWNCHAIR GARDEN HOSE BRIGADE”. They have their own anthem too, [to the tune "Hurt"]:

I have a used original series of D&D manuals and I think the original owner name scratched out looks to be “Mikey Goldfarb.”

I love the D20 logo. A lot.
The 13 on the D20 is wrong. It is a mirror image or the one is upside down. The placement of the 12 nad 14 do not match the other numbers, the numbers aligning with an edge of a facet on the die.
The other logo is great.

I’ve never played D & D, but I think it’s bizarre that someone would generalize about an entire group of people whose only apparent similarity is their interest in a certain pastime. Then again, it seems that quite a lot of McCain supporters are pretty openly jingoistic. You know, thinking that being a Mexican, or Muslim, or gay, etc., is a bad thing.
So now, I think it’s great that all you D & D enthusiasts, who I’m sure have many different viewpoints are uniting in support for Obama.
