Emily and I are heading to eastern PA for the next several days. I’ll have my laptop with me but I have no sense of what connectivity will be like where we’re going, so things may get sleepy around Candleblog for a few days. I’ll try and keep the twitter whale happy at least.

Since 2004 Candleblog has been the online journal of Vermont filmmaker, Bill Simmon. Bill uses Candleblog as a repository of pop culture ephemera, amusing anecdotes, occasional deep thoughts and anything else he thinks is web-worthy.
Candleblog has received the Seven Days "Daysie" Award for Best Vermont Blog (non-political) in 2005, 2007 and 2008, and has been a runner up in that category a bunch of times as well.

Ha. While your back was turned we’ve had Palin, Gustav, McCain’s suicide and the loss of half the population of Los Angeles to a recently awakened sleeping monster that breathes fire. Don’t EVER take a vacation again.
