This is a big weekend. Tonight is my first Intro to Filmmaking class of the fall semester at CCV and I’m busy getting the course documents in order. After class tonight I’ll edit together a series of award-winning short films by Vermont filmmakers that the Vermont International Film Festival will screen at VCAM as part of the South End Art Hop, which happening tomorrow and Saturday. Art Hop is the largest public event of the year at VCAM. We get hundreds of people through our doors on the Friday of Art Hop and it’s all hands on deck. We’ll be projecting the award-winning films in our studio. All manner of art and artists will be on display throughout the south end. I’ll be hanging around VCAM most of the time, so swing on by and say hello.

Films screening at VCAM as part of the VIFF showcase include Keeping Time by Graham Raubvogel, To a Flame by Michael Fisher, Excerpts from The Naked Hitchhiker by Bobbie Lanahan, Ice by Art Bell and Digital Pamphleteer by yours truly.

Then my birthday is on Monday.
