People I want to get drunk with

This might be a new category at Candleblog. I could write posts about Christopher Hitchens, Tom Waits and Chris Matthews in that category. Here’s an entry:

Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen, co-writers of Dr. Horrible’s Sing-a-long Blog, had some drinks on Labor Day weekend and sang songs about food to their webcam in their bedroom. I was almost certainly drunk as well when this was taped, but the spatial coordinates really need to coincide with the temporal ones in order for me to fairly say I drank “with” them.

When’s Dr. Horrible II?! Actually, word is that they recorded a musical commentary track for the DVD release. I’m not sure if they’re pulling our legs or not. I hope not.
