Happy New Year y’all!

I can’t convince you. Try it for a month and see if you like it. But don’t just half-assedly fiddle with it for an hour or two and then decide it’s lame.

One thing: don’t treat it like an inbox. Think of it more as live TV (or like a hundred live TVs at once). You turn it on, you check it out, you turn it off. (And it’s not ten or twenty sites, it’s just one site with an amalgamated stream.)

So I am one of those people who thinks Twitter is stupid. Who the fuck cares what so and so is doing? It’s meaningless drivel that makes people fell important, but adds more junk to the electronic junk buzzing around already. I am already overwhelmed with work, looking for work, junk mail in my email and my real mailbox. I have more important things to do and I frankly don’t give a shit.

If I am going to have some sort of event, I will send invitations and let people know. Yes, in some ways twitter can be useful, but I really don’t have the time, or energy to go to ten or twenty sites and read everyone’s twitter.

I’ve pretty much stopped bloggng because I really don’t have that much to say and I don’t think anybody relly gives a shit about what I have to say anyway. I should probably post some photos or something, but I’m too damn lazy.

Anyway, convince me, why twitter and why should I care?
