Macy says at one point in this about hiring local people and helping their resumes is completely true - my boyfriend has been working on productions here in Chicago (IL just passed a 30% tax incentive in December... go Blago! Right?!) and he keeps getting new jobs because he's making the right connections, building his resume, and it means he doesn't have to move to LA to work in film. Phew. What William H.
