The film festival was a success and now it’s over! With a little luck things will quiet down this month and I can get some things accomplished, like posting on Candleblog again! Here are some links to start things off…

• Asylum.com links to what it calls the 8 most bizarre and ridiculous public access TV shows. Working in access TV I can tell you that this list barely scratches the surface of bizarre and ridiculous, but it’s worth a look anyway, even if just for the honor of BTV’s own Zeela the Goth getting a nod.
• Speaking of awesome things coming in eights, here are 8 cutting edge cheese sculptures. What’s with the ultra-phallic Eiffel Tower?
• Enjoy this nerdy Halloween prank a math teacher played on his students.
• XKCD remains teh awesome.
• This week’s Spacetime Report is up at The Contrarian.
• Wal-Mart didn’t really need to jump the shark, but it did anyway.
• Watch this awesome little film by Middlebury filmmaker Tim Joy. Tim won the Best Worst Movie/Troll 2 costume contest at VIFF this year, if not an award for his film.
