TPGNK Update

Sunday, October 03 2004 @ 05:01 PM

filmmakingSo my film, The Perfect Goodnight Kiss, has been accepted as an entry into the Vermont International Film Festival, which runs October 13th through the 18th. If you want to see it, according to the schedule on the VIFF website it will play on Wednesday, October 13th at 8:00 pm at the Firehouse Gallery on Church Street in Burlington.

I have also been invited to participate in a filmmaker panel discussion tentatively scheduled for Thursday the 14th at 5:00 pm. The panel discussion is called "Moving the Message" and I have absolutely no idea what it's about because the link in the schedule takes you to the Vermont Council on the Arts homepage, which doesn't seem to contain any relevant information. Anyway, if you're attending the festival, make sure you come to the panel discussion and lend some Candleblog love and support to me.

I won't be able to stay too late though, because later that night The Decemberists are totally playing Club Metronome. Rock out!

Also make sure you check out the films by my cohorts in filmic crime, Alexis Holloway & Rob Koier. Their films are Attraction: A New Alone and Love/Hate, respectively, and by sheer coincidence (as far as I know), they are bookending the screening of TPGNK. See them all in one easy-to-come-to night!
