While clearly "anonymous" isn't clear on the concept, he/she has a good point when he/she says you have two choices (basically, put up or shut up). It's quite true. From the point of view of a passive and ignorant Pennsylvanian there really isn't much subtle or fascinating about the world of politics. It all boils down to slogans from Bush and an oversimlified perspective on choice. I agree with him/her, however I'd go a step further: you have what we call the "pennsylvania dilemma", i.e., these two choices
- live - kill yourself - die eventually ... [was that funny? i can never tell. us pennsylvanians never have a sense of humor (due to all the deer ticks) so i can never tell.] |
