This Friday TiVo will be giving away free 40 GB Series 2 TiVo units to any Comcast customers who bring their cable bill and a gift for The Family Giving Tree charity to the TiVo headquarters in Alviso, CA. It's a publicity stunt and a jab at Comcast, who offers their own, lame PVR. The giveaway will last from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., or until they run out of units, and it will be limited to one TiVo per household.
