Television TapeMonday, January 17 2005 @ 04:18 AM In 1961 KTTV in Los Angeles produced a short promotional film about the miracle invention of "television tape." Watch the film online and marvel at the wide array of special effects available to TV producers at the time. "And it's not expensive!"

I like the clip from "Divorce Court". Sheesh, it didn't take long for TV to find the LCD. Thanks to Jeff Kreines at the Cinematographer's Mailing list for that old gem. Note that it was Kinescoped-video transferred to film, for archiving.
