I spent the afternoon shooting video of Jim Lockridge and Lee Anderson digging through old gear in a storage shed out at Vermont Public Radio, looking for anything that might be useful in their endeavor to launch
The Radiator, a low power FM radio station in Burlington. VPR's programming director is a big proponent of LPFM and has been really helpful. Jim's wife Victoria works out there, as does NTodd's wife Stef. I also saw my friend Mark Nash there--he was directing a radio play or something. It felt quite homey--I knew everyone there practically!
Anyway, after we humped all of the schwag upstairs to the BHW offices, Lee and Jim showed me their business proposal, which included a grid of a proposed week of programming. Jim pointed out that they included not only a slot for Friday Coffeeblogging, but something called "Bill Simmon's Hour of Fame." I have no idea what that means, but I can't wait!
