What, only the people smart enough to URL mine for it are allowed to listen? ... Way to ensure you only get the smartest listeners. Or the geekiest listeners.

I love listening to myself... I've listened to it, like, five times already.
And the "Get Naked" song is great. [heart] It's still Tuesday on the west coast.

Link is fixed. It was 2:30 in the morning, alright? Amy--that's rare. Most people hate hearing themselves. Sounds like you should be podcasting.

Admittedly a little behind in my FCB's here, but is there a top secret URL for FCB #15? I can't find it in the July or August list...
BTW, FCB #14 was great, but it always seems that discussions about topics like the GTA San Andreas Hot Coffee patch (that is, kids getting ahold of this or that form of pornography), proceed with the inarguable assumption that such events are inherently bad and kids come out of it irreparably damaged. There's never any discussion of the PROOF of this assumption, but rather an unwavering focus on how society will prevent kids from being severely traumatized. It's the parent job, no, it's Congress's duty, no, it's Rockstar Games' problem, etc. Does anyone know of any scientific proof/research that kids, having all other possible developmental factors ruled out, grow up demented due to pornographic exposure? It sounds like pure conjecture to me, because, let's be honest, what kid does NOT get his hands on porn at some point before that magic, government-determined, trauma-proof age of 18? --- It's still Tuesday on the west coast.

Yay! We didn't bore Reba! I'll have to add that to the list of quotes at the FCB site.
JIMO, I'm not aware of any studies that link pornography to "demented" behavior in kids, but there are scads that link watching violent TV shows and movies with violent behavior in the immediate short term (right after the viewings). Whether violent TV/video game content translates to a more violent society is highly arguable, especially given the fact that violent behavior in kids is down (I think this point was made in the podcast). Read Steven Johnson's excellent letter to Hilary Clinton for more on this. FCB 15 is here. I found it right away. Was it hiding? It's still Tuesday on the west coast.

Hiding? Don't know, maybe it was me being a blockhead. July's list ended with FCB #14 and August's started with #16, as far as I could tell.
Anyway, thanks for the link... --- It's still Tuesday on the west coast.

Sounds like a lot of commitment, software downloading/configuration, possible hardware purchases, etc. You know, too much like marriage.
