Mmmm, Natalie Portman.
Oh, sorry! They want to get some distance between the film and the recent London underground bombings. Since there are scenes in the film where the tube gets bombed, I think it's a wise decision. It would have been nice to release on Guy Fawkes Day, but thay would push it to a full year later and who knows what will happen in that time? The trailer looked really good. If you read the scifi article I linked to, the WB rep said it had nothing at all to do with the London bombings, but was because of post production delays. That makes a lot more sense. British releases are usually different than American ones anyway so the Brits could change the release dates if they felt the material hit too close to home. I don't think that's the case here though.

I did read the article, but I feel that the source may have been instructed about what to say. Post prod delays are plausable and may actually be part of it, but the marketing departmant may have also suggested a delay in release.
Plus, they may be hoping people in the U.S. will be too soused to notice any bad CGI's. Remember, remember, the... 17th of March?

The last part is a joke, but I'm speculating that maybe they thought it was a good idea to wait a bit. Me personally, I don't care, but that was the first thing that popped into my head.
"You have got to be fucking kidding me." No, I still won't fuck you. I know you're hard up but let's take this offline where we can wrestle with these pressing issues. Remember, remember, the... 17th of March?

The last time she gave me "the business" I had an antibiotic IV drip for 3 days in the ICU.

I think she forgot to wash her "tools".
