I was lucky to have met Pat Hejny at the 2nd Vermont blogger meetup in Montpelier last month. She struck me as an amazing firecracker of a woman. I watched as she lectured (in a good way) a Vermont Law student about constitutional issues and the SCOTUS.

Today's news is sad. Her son Rama broke the news as a comment in Pat's blog:

Pat died at 8:21 this morning (Tuesday). Her memorial is being scheduled for Saturday morning at the Church of the Good Shephard in Barre.
