Still have yet to see the pilot movie. Has it not been released on DVD, or are the video stores in my area mega-lame?
And do we have to version everything these days? Is the fifth episode of the third year BSG 3.5???? --- Happy Bill

Eve, the previews for next week give away an important story point. Did you notice? Email me if you want me to tell you (same goes for anyone else who wants to know--though I'm sure this info is all over the BSG boards by now).
The version number thing is actually SciFi's marketing. Beginning with the second season they were doing the 2.0, 3.0 thing. Happy Bill

Using version numbers for anything other than software is so 2.0.

Isn't this still the second season, though? I thought that was the reason they included the ".0" at the end of the new DVD release -- to (ambiguously) imply a 2.1 or 2.5 or whatever the hell they're going to call it when the second half of season 2 comes out on DVD.
At any rate, on Sci Fi's site, they're calling Friday's episode #211. And it was disturbing and great, once again. |
