Rock-n-roll weekend

life of billEmily and I went out and saw live music on both Friday and Saturday nights this week! That's pretty impressive considering that we're old. Last night was a gathering of Burlington's hipsterati at 135 Pearl to see several indier than thou rock bands including groups featuring Candleblog readers Neil Cleary and Arthur "Blammos" Adams. Tonight we went to the Radio Bean to see the St. Albans-based rock-a-folky-grass band, Farm. And tomorrow MarkS and I will spend all day shooting a video for the Blammos indy pop tune, Bye Bye Bye.

All I can say is: it's better to burn out than it is to fade away, baby.
