That's pretty impressive considering that we're old.

Well spoke, Spine. The post was dominated by the single "old" line, which spoke volumes about the state-of-mind of the author in a restricted but richly textured context. Blammos? Cleary? That's all very well and good (and I'm bummed I missed both, being located far from the action)_, but what's all this about "old". Isn't MarkS, the very guy you're working with today, older than you by some years? Isn't Mr. Cleary? I myself am almost 10 years older, although admittedly you do seem to be catching up. IMHO you either need a life-changing vice, sex with the naked girl's roller skating team (leave the skates on for the ride of your life!) or some new electronics - just don't get one of those intel-macs. What about a blackberry? ... but y'know, helping out another guy who's on the on-ramp to his mid-life crisis is nearly impossible. We'll be waiting on the other side, amigo - it's not as painful as you might think and you'll be happy once the offending gland is removed.

I was ready to hop in here to defend Emily's youth a vitality only to find
that Spine said better than I every could. Rock-n-roll weekend

For the record I'm 33, but have always thought a.) rock shows should be earlier and have not as many bands and b.) sex with naked girls is awesome, roller skates or no.
I dunno if a Blackberry will keep Bill young, but I hear roller skating will. Rock-n-roll weekend

Sorry Neil, never met you - thought you were an old man, like bill ... okay, minor setback, but at least we're all agreed that:
a) Bill shouldn't dis his hot babe girlfriend by including her in his midlife crisis. Oh wait, maybe we didn't agree on that. Rock-n-roll weekend

I like Farm.
But I only drink once a week now, therefore my tolerance is pretty low. I
got pretty soused on Friday, so I was too hungover to handle the Bean
last night. Heard it was good, though. Lazy Songwriter tonite?

Yes sir. Lazy Songwriter tonight. I plan to be there, making it 3 nights of live music in a row for me (wish me luck convincing Emily to go--she's way older than me in some respects). Very tired now following 8 solid hours of music video making. Arthur was in true hipster form and the "flygirls" were very... fly.

I may be chronologically old, but I feel pretty energetic and enlivened most of the time. I did a bunch of handheld camera work today which was fun. I worked about a nine hour day, so I'm still rarin' to go. Lazy Songwriter fer sher!
The Flygirls are so very fly and their beauty unmatched. I find them to be quite inspiring. A lot of gigs I work ten to twelve hours and then I have an hour drive to get home. But I'm lucky, I'm doing something that I love. Rock-n-roll weekend

That last comment by "billsimmon" was really by MarkS. He used my computer while I was still logged on. Just want to be clear on that.

By the beard of Zeus! How do we know who is who? This has got to stop now, right now, do you hear me? Both of you, sit down and be quiet or I'm going to have to call your father.

Wow, I bet you feel so much better (though tired) after pooping a
hammer! Too much Vietnamese? Rock-n-roll weekend

I think that was Phinneus, Emily's cat, who pooped the hammer. He must have typed while both Bill and I were away from the computer.
He also barfed on the carpet. |
