After my last post I went to the free Mexican bar-b-que for registrants and met Chris Gore there, which was cool if you're a film nerd like me. Just as I was parting company with Gore, I heard a "Bill!" and turned to find one Jenni S.: a filmmaker from NYC who's friends with my friend Mat. Jenni and I had never met, but we became MySpace friends after Mat made the SXSW connection for us. She recognized me from my photos I guess. So I hung out with her and her friend for a little while and then headed over to the Web Awards ceremony.

I hooked up with Andy and Todd again and we watched some awards get awarded and then snuck out early so Andy could get back to the hotel in time for the season premiere of The Sopranos. Unfortunately, Andy didn't take the time zone factor into account and we just caught the very last scene, which if you saw the episode, you know is a BIG DEAL. So we hung out for a bit and then ventured out for some very good fast food.

Here ends the story. Tomorrow I'm going to get some movie watching in.
