Never use img tags to other sites. Always "save image as..." to your desktop and upload the image. Unless it's from IMDB in which case you have to do "view source" to find the image (they put it in a sneaky "background" tag). Then view it as a draft to make sure it worked.

img tags rock and it saves me from having to download the stupid things. i won't conform to the web's shortcomings, it will have to conform to me, goddamn it. and why couldn't i edit my story myself? good question. you'd figure that when the links broke two hours later i should've been able to go in and edit the tags or even download/upload the images, right? well i tried but stupid candleblog only lets me edit 3 out of 4 stories i actually post.

Not editing: I've seen that too. Try logging in again, and/or visiting the edit page directly. (add "&mode=edit" to the url)

Crap. Tried logging off/on again. No luck. When try to edit, URL has "&mode=edit" in already and error comes up. crap. thanks anyway. i blame bill.

By the way, I'm the one who edited out the image tags in your story
once it became clear that they was gonna stay broke. I also made slight
modifications to the homoerotic subtext.
