The trailer itself is a pretty amazing work of art. Stuff like this restores my faith in cinema as an actual artform (as opposed to merely an entertainment commodity).

It's art. Like the dude who nailed his hands to the roof of a volkswagon or the chick who ate a hole in her wall - sheetrock, studs, all of it. Christ, don't you know anything? Frankly, what these kumquats do with their petroleum jelly shouldn't be the people's business, if you know what i mean, but as long as they're going to go public with their weird shit they should at least have the courtesy to include liner notes for hoi polloi. It reminds me of a scene from Stardust Memories when a couple exiting a film have the following exchange:
1st Woman: "...and what do you think his rolls royce symbolized?" 2nd Woman: "I think it symbolized his car." Great movie. |
