That gives me the willies and reminds me of watching Them! when I was little. There was another movies too whose title I can't remember, regular size ants but hoards of them overrunning a plantation-like place. Anyway, like I said, gives me the willies.

e_to_the_em, that was a great movie! i recall being fascinated as Charlton Heston worked directing ditches be dug, filled w/ water and I think oil or gasoline to defend his plantation against the ants. It was the 1954 adventure flick The Naked Jungle and a great favorite of my pre-teen movie experiences. They weren't mutated monster ants, just a whole buncha ants that covered everything in a big swarm like the locusts in "Days of Heaven".
