It was a long weekend--literally and figuratively. Saturday ended up being a 15.5-hour long production day. My hat goes off to the folks in my video crew: Karen, Vinney, Seth, Nick and particularly Bear, who went above and beyond the call of duty and put in a hell of a long day for me. I'm confident that the results of their efforts will be great.
Unfortunately, I was so wiped that yesterday there was basically no way I was going to shoot more interviews. Today people are all leaving town again so I'll have to either catch them another time or schedule a trip down to NYC and shoot a bunch of interviews there (Mark, you'll be getting a call about this). In fact, I'll have to do that, because there are several must-have interviews for the film that are all located in the greater NYC area.
Last night I caught the tail end of BJ Snowden's set at the Bean and had a yummy dinner at Five Spice (which is selling or closing soon according to rumors I've heard--a tremendous loss to BTV, if true).
Today Emily and I met with our friend Rich, who will be the caterer for the wedding. Now we're off to see Rachel Frida dance.
Here endeth the report. Normal blogging to resume tomorrow.
