Beautiful. I love how the quotes you chose set up the story, and the
picture quality of the interviews is great. The only thing I don't like is the
font of the text. Everything else is so cool and slick, and the font looks
kinda pedestrian. On the other hand, I think if you found some really cool
font, or maybe even a handwritten text design, that could make it look
extra cool.

Thanks for the kind words. I bounced an earlier version off of Spine, Pistol, Arthur and AlexW and they each gave me valuable input -- thanks guys. The next version (closer to the actual release) will have a different font because a "look" will have been determined by then. Right now I'm just throwing shit together.

all kidding aside, the trailer made me want to see the film. the font issue is a non-issue bill, these amateurs couldn't tell a font from a typeface. the fact is, the only thing keeping this from being a perfectly fine trailer is the whole arthur-as-gay-nerd thing. but i've got that figured out: it's a combination of

25% right shoulder toss
25% chin tilting
50% haircut

like haggard, he can't be fixed, only edited straight. also, for the record, haggard is a closeted homosexual. foley is a pederast.

I guess not Murph. It's hard to tell in the trailer but your interview looks substantially different from the others because of the video mode I was shooting in. I think it will be fine though.

I may or may not have watched the MTV Video Music Awards this year. And I may or may not have noticed something, and I may or may not have been the only one.

Obviously, Bill, interviewing Jessica Simpson would add a certain je nest ce quoi to the piece as a whole.

Whatever font you settle on, Bill, it's bound to be better then that blasted Comic Sans.

This looks like it's going to be great and i've never seen the band. The trailer really does build interest(do we find out why they kicked that one guy out?) i'm looking forward to the movie. Nice work.

Definitely do the YouTube thing, Bill, because it's damn good, good enough to interest the uninitiated, and maybe even cause regret that they missed seeing The Pants play.

Everyone on the planet regrets not seeing this or that band live before it broke up. For me it's Kyuss, no argument. I kick myself for not catching a show back in the 90's. But almost all of us Candleblog contributors can say one thing: "I saw The Muthafuckin Pants live back in the day! Yeah, biatch!"

I will gladly be interviewed...If I keep talking about how *hot* the band
is, that should take care of me looking gay, but what will I wear so I

BTW: I love the Chainsaws listing in the discography section of the Pants
site. Only saw 'em once, in Redstone, but what a show! Jesse
Sargeant, pre-Invisible Jet, opened. Fun times.
