Well, we just shot down our own satellite with missiles! So there! Yeah, so what if the debris could, well, smash up our other satellites. Head on you! Has this "sole future superpower" posturing gone far enough yet?

That is almost exactly what I thought when I heard the report, and other reports about America investigating/building similar technology.
The desire to weaponize space proves that we are a bunch of assholes deserving to be wiped out by some alien race with bigger space bombs. --- |
