SXSWHere are the verbatim notes I took from the first morning panel today, Emerging Social and Technology Trends:

  • Compared rate of technological change to that of cities.

  • Technology drives social change (more than the other way 'round.)

  • "Plazes."

  • Kids putting all their info/data out there -- generational divide.

  • If you don't blog it, did it really happen? :)

  • Potential backlash to transparency?

    • There's a 1/2 hour between panels that are in rooms a few steps apart, so I'm sitting waiting for the next one to start, hence this contextless post. Apologies. Having Texas bar-b-que for lunch at noon-thirty. More later...
