Two words: FUCKING YES!

The Philip Glass score made me laugh, and alleviated the stress caused by watching that YouTube vid about American intelligence, or lack thereof.

My only problem now is that I assume this will be released for PS3, and I had no plans to buy a PS3. Hmmm, those plans may have to change...

Yeah, those are definitely PS3-esque graphics. I wouldn't worry, though. I'm pretty sure most developers will release new titles on XBox 360 simultaneously, due to PS3's less-than-superstar market presence.

Yeah, probably, but I don't have a 360 either. I was gonna skip a generation of game consoles to avoid burning away time needlessly (or needfully, some gamers might argue), because I got some major home repairs coming up. And because I still get the sense that graphics are where manufacturers focus their development resources. I could care less about better graphics. They're good enough now. What I want is focus on making gameplay more interesting. For instance, speech synthesis. When I name my generated NHL 2007 right winger "Horny Grandma", I want to hear the announcer say "Horny Grandma", not cop-out-ville "number 33" or whatever.

"Horny Grandma passes to Douche Bag. Douche Bag passes to Blumpkin. Blumpkin passes to Cockstump...SCORE!"

This would be a very important gameplay advancement.

All that being said, I'll probably cave like a sucker and buy one.
