We are in an Embassey Suites a few blocks from the hotel where the convention is. Strangely, the convention room block was available for every night except tomorrow night -- the second night of the convention. Weird. I like the hotel we're in, but VCAM has to pay $10/day for WiFi in our room and we just discovered that only one of us can be online at a time. Good thing The Embassey Suites doesn't take the same attitude toward the other utilities they provide -- like only one of us being able to use the lights at a time. Grrr.
We were very hungry when we got to the hotel and we got some food tips from the very pretty Egyptian front desk agent. She steered us to a great sushi bar in a nearby hotel. Expensive, but yummy.
Forecast calls for a high of 94 tomorrow. I'll spend the day checking out downtown Minneapolis and preparing for my talk on Friday. I'll hopefully get to hang out with my friend Katie for a bit tomorrow too.
G'noit, Benoit.
