  • My first SF hero, Isaac Asimov, discusses the Bible and religion in this 1982 Free Inquiry interview
  • It turns out (not really, see below) that the Sun and planets are not actually members of the Milky Way galaxy, but rather belong to an orbiting dwarf galaxy that's interacting with the Milky Way. Go figure. (Thanks, Eve!)
  • UPDATE: please take the above link with a giant grain of salt. I just followed a few links from there and let's just say my skeptical meter pinged pretty hard. Anyone with some substantiating information should feel free to chime in.
