It's one of those things that you read about and you kind of want to see, but then you realize that you are better of having not seen anything that is mentioned at the Wikki site.
I was naughty once and sent Greg the Lemonparty jpg. He was not happy. It's one of those things you do where you get shocked and then you want to inflict the same horror on someone else, so you can laugh at someone else. The Flickr photos are funny, there's a woman, I think her name is K, who appears in a bunch of the photos, I think she is the shower while the photog snaps the shot. There's one where she has the most evil look on her face, it's great. Flickr set of people's first Goatse experiences

Thank you for this item, Bill. It had me nearly crying with laughter -- twice! I didn't have the guts to look at the original image, but I got a good enough idea from the description that I was able to appreciate the victims' reactions. Priceless.
The Wikipedia entry was fascinating, too. Now that's the kind of thing you would NEVER find in Encyclopedia Britannica. Clearly there are Gaping Fleshy Holes in our world of reference that Wikipedia is working hard to fill. Flickr set of people's first Goatse experiences

I think we need both the Encyclopedia Britannica AND Wikipedia. The loss of either one would leave a gaping hole in important reference material.

having been exposed to both lemon-party and goatse, and an exposeur, so to speak, i can truly say that this element of global interconnectedness completely transcends the vision of even the most psychopathic visionary in the days before the web. A year or two ago at a large conference (at DefCon was it? perhaps AgentX can fill in the details), a team pwned the routers (I think) and had the goatse image substitute for the DefCon logo on every web page. Hopefully whoever remembers the incident can provide a link to the correct story. Regardless, an ENTIRE CONVENTION CENTER of people doing the goatse-reaction together w/ no way to escape must've been a sight to see.
